We will be meeting most Sundays (except the 2nd Sunday and holiday breaks) in the parish hall for 20 minutes of catechism
We start each gathering with some refreshments (don’t worry, we have coffee!) followed by a lesson from the Baltimore Catechism.
Students go to their grade-level classrooms while adults and high schoolers gather together (Nursery, K-1st, 2nd, 3rd-5th, 6th-8th)
Please register today by clicking the registration button below. We are using the same books as last year, and more will be available for purchase during September. You can view the schedule below or click the button to view the full flyer.
For those interested in honing their theological knowledge and being better equipped to share, teach, and spread the faith, this class is for you! We meet on the 2nd Wed of each month from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm at Visitation Hall in New Salem. At each meeting, we go over the answers for that month's chapter, then answer questions and elaborate on certain topics of interest. There is an option to complete this course and receive a Marian Catechist certification as well.
Contact Kathryn Mulderink at [email protected], or call the parish office, if you would like to join us.
Bible Study: Letter to the Hebrews
This Bible study illustrates how Christ as the New and Eternal High Priest, Prophet, and King inaugurates the New and Eternal Covenant, which is made present to us through the Liturgical and Sacramental life of the Church. This is an 8 week study from Ascension Press with Andrew Swafford and Jeff Cavins. This session will be held at St. Stanislaus on Tuesdays in the parish meeting room (in school) from 6:30-7:30 pm. At St. Mary’s it will be on Wednesday from 9:30-10:30 am in the parish meeting room. The study begins Tues Sept 30 at SS and Weds Oct 1 at SMV. Come to whichever class fits in your schedule, it is the same session at both parishes each week. Any questions, call Karen Armock at 616-430-3759.
